First Punjabi Talk in a KH located in Baesa (Caloocan)see map.
March 29th Saturday 5:30pm.
Why? Because the KH is 10 min walking distance (or 2 min by motor cycle). The Baesa studies have been traveling one hour each way to the KH in Quezon City. For a couple of years now they've been asking us when would we have a talk in the KH a few blocks away "from us?" So remember the "white hair" I prayed for? Brother Khosla volunteered to give a public talk and the brothers decided to try Baesa out. Would it be feast or famine? The studies always say, "yes, off course we shall come." But it usually does not end up that way.

| Baesa is in Caloocan - our regular KH is in Quezon City - 45-60 min one way depending on traffic. |
| Note: it is night time - sorry to admit that I kept the Khoslas (he is almost 68 yrs old) out till almost 9pm last Tuesday - 5 days before the talk. They personally invited about 10 families. We invited those who were not studying to come and see. |
| Outside the KH - here they come trickling in . . . |
| First to arrive - Reetu with her Aunt Sukhi (not her bike - just posing for fun ) |
| You may recognize Parveen, the one in the WT (in red). The lady standing was one of my first studies in 2011 and stopped studying as soon as she started. Parveen made 3 trips to the Baesa KH that day - dropped off her son and drove away yelling, "I'll be right back!" (meh hunee ayee!!!) ,returned dropping off this lady and drove off again, bringing back the ladies daughter. (just minutes away). Here's the amazing part of all - Do you know why in the Oct 15 2013 WT her and I are shown studying sitting outside? Because her household did not like it. Guess who came? yep, her husband and his brother - THAT - WAS - A - FIRST! Parveen is starting to believe in "miracles," and Jehovah became more real to her in a very personal way that day. |
| Here she is - late and overjoyed. Shall we introduce to you others that came? |
| Sukhi, Sukhi and Reetu - the first ones to arrive! we need their help today. |
| HUSBANDS! came. Do you remember a few months back, when a bunch of women from Baesa came and we borrowed a large van? This time, all those women's husbands came!!! Parveen's husband is behind the brother (wearing tie)- you can barely see him. |
| Starting on the left - Brother Sean from Stockton CA - next to him, Seema's husband, then, man we've never met - Nirmal, husband of Aman (and Parveen's brother) - Robert (1st cousin of Parveen/Nirmal - he studies too and said, "I wanna prove to you guys that there should be a meeting in Baesa every month! If there was, we would come!" He invited many single men we had never preached to, but seen in transit. Navy shirt/white stripes is Parveen's husband. Sonny - Parveen's brother in law- then Harpreet - another brother of Parveen. Turban guy - never studied, just came due to receiving an invite, then we have Gita's husband and Mandeep's husband and Mandeeps brother. So. . . . |

| We counted about 36 interested ones - we think 31 came from Baesa alone! Many came just out of curiosity. Remember, we only invited, perhaps, 10 families! More came than we had invited. The studies (I'm sure the angels were involved) invited the rest. |

Wow wow wow is all I can say. Now we wait for Jehovah's further direction regarding Baesa. |
