Special Full Time Servants - How the "layoffs" affects us

About 8-9 SP's from our SKE class received letters to become Regular Pioneers.  And they took this news with hearts full of hope.  - so encouraging.  Some need to return to their hometowns and others will try to stick it out in their new assignments.  Does it affect us?  For now, no.  But that doesn't mean it won't.  And the truth is Hil and I are happy to stay - happy to go. Either way -  we stay in the PJ field. So we have nothing to lose.  Sometimes encouragement comes from a most unexpected source. This was an email from a progressive bible student raised around the truth: 

He says: 

Subject: Glad you kept your day job.

I think it went like this:

The angel in mid heaven went to report to Jehovah and said," Exalted leader! I have the summary reports of the corporate downsizing.  These are the people to keep for exemplary zeal and impeccable service in the field:

The point is Jehovah recognizes your fine work!

 How Do You Know If A Mr. Right is The Mr Right?

The jackpot answer to that question came from the funnest girl you will ever have the privilege of meeting. 

Meet Yumi! 

She is from Canada serving in the PJ field for 6 years.   Japanese born - Now serving in The PI in QC PJ cong. She says . . .

Is this guy taking this gift away from you? 

Just imagine, little girl selling koolaid on the street in hot summer time, dad is watching her from the house, he helped her make koolaid and provided all she needs to sell it on the street, she is happy when she makes a few bucks, then this little neighbour guy comes to take all this away! You have left with nothing. . . Instead of bringing cupcakes to sell them with you or add some variety on your table to aid you, he takes everything away! You want the kind of person who comes to aid you or add more on top of what you have so you will be more effective and used in Jehovah's eyes!!!  

If the attraction is physical just imagine him 100 lbs heavier, and going bald."
