East meets West meets South meets North. QC PJ Congregation meets PQ PJ Group meets Cavite PJ Group and potential Bulacan PJ pubs. What a turn out! We tuned in to Punjab's Jalandhar RC. The priceless moments were when all the PJ's broke out into loud laughter due to some idiomatic phrase or saying that only those living in PJ would get. Then there was me: "What? What? Ki kenda? ki kenda?! What did he mean?"
We had 2 TV screens that size.

Do you see Jagdish? Reetu? And that Aunti we met years ago in Baesa? They are on older posts in this blog. All doing well in the Truth. Reetu is an unbaptized Publisher now!
This picture makes me so happy! Not only because these lovely ladies have unlearned the Indian-don't-show-your-teeth-smile, but because look how happy Jagdish looks!
Recall her son died recently. It was a horrific traumatic experience for her in Moga, and I thought, we had lost her spiritually. But look . . . priceless innit . . .she was in tears during the Saturday Drama. We held her hand. But no matter what, it was painful to watch that movie for her, I'm sure, to relive her personal experience. But look at that smile . . .her other son was with us too, all 3 days.
This picture just gives me a warm fuzzy . . . it's Jehovah's work. It's only Jehovah, who, like someone once said -
" . . .can hit control Z and undo it all . . ."
Lunch break. There's Katie from SJ PJ Cong. Reetu. Sujata. Jagdish. Aunti. That's Harmeen, down on her knees, the one who labeled her Bible. And do you recognize the front row, short lady, green T-shirt, 2 little boys standing in front of her? Yes, that's Monica Ansh and Ridam from PQ. She wanted to get baptized today! Well, we had some explaining to do. So . . .see below.
She approached Brother Sarb asking why she could not get baptized today . . .what she needed to do etc. Now keep in mind that there are quite a few things changes that need to take place that we have yet to discuss, but I like to get to that point gradually. But the best part about the interchange in Hebrews 10:24 is that others can do the job for you. It continues below . . .
The next day, Sunday. Monica is telling another progressive student from QC - That I won't let her get baptized . . .LOL. it was cute. Well, that student does the whole Leh ਲੈ!!!! thing! It went something like this:
ਲੈ!! ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਦਾਂ baptisma ਲੈ ਸਕਦੀ!? ਤੁੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੰਗਲਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਪਾਇਆ!!! How can you get baptized. You're wearing (the Hindu marriage necklace) and look at your rings !! (I think they were superstitious rings) We don't wear that! JWs don't wear anything!
And the conversation pursued with my stomach in knots a bit, nervous if she's getting offended, but Monica took of the necklace. And Tuesday showed me her hands, "No rings," she says. It was a beautiful moment that shows, again, it's Jehovah's work. And it takes a "village," to bring someone in the truth. I just wish the "village" was closer to PQ . . .
