The History of Silang Punjabi Group

It begins with The Bernadino Family

Below you can see the 1st PJ Language Class held in Quezon City, 2011. From me, count 2 to the left, and you will see Brother Bernadino and his wife standing in front of him.

If you can recall, once I posted a video of a 6 year old Philippino boy reading Punjabi.  {Above} That's him today! Our youngest and fastest WT reader in Silang - 13 years old. {See top photo - he is wearing the red tie)

So, here's what happened.  The Bernadino couple graduated from the QC PJ language class, but shortly afterwards they were invited to assist a new English group in another city. They obeyed.  Shortly after that, they moved to Tagatay (a town in Cavite) English Cong.  There, they got back in touch with the PJ Field.  But it just wasn't "taking off."

MARCH 2016

A Tagalog cong. in Silang (from Tagatay 40 min.)  agreed to host a PJ group. The CO wanted to find out how many publishers in this circuit would be interested in learning PJ. So he read a letter at the Tagalog assembly, inviting any interested in learning PJ, to attend a PJ Language Workshop in Silang.

You may recall these pictures posted back in March 2016.

The response was unbelievable.
100++ attended.  Curiosity motivated some, others just wanted to know how to preach to PJs. All ages. Families, couples and singles.
Hilary and I were not there, {CO visit or assembly?? )  but we heard the exciting news that very night.
Funny thing, after hearing the buzz we wanted to move there!
