Bye Stephanie B!

This is one of the gatherings we had before she left. Playing a bible game "who am I?" Everyone - but you - knows. You have to guess the name stuck on your head by only asking yes - no- maybe-  answered questions.
Stephanie went home today and it's weird cuz she really fit in well with the group (my way of saying i miss her already) . it was nice getting to know her and having a "kid" around. I like that and miss that.  She is a jewel. a rare jewel jewel in our org as in  - a young one who has made the truth her own - has her own relationship with Jah - and wants to do more for Jah.  We look forward to her coming back. She hopes to come again for 3 months  . . .  soon!

TRINITY CALL:  Well, i think it went quite well. We had Jah's holy spirit  and a heart that was ready to learn. What more could you ask for?  I had prepared a bunch of scriptures and used the Trinity Brochure (to show pictures of the origination of the trinity from Babel to Egypt to India along with the Council at Nicaea illustration).  The pictures drove the point home.  We discussed the "father and I are one" and "in union with me" and the role of the "holy spirit" and my favourite and most challenging one: explain in PJ John 1:1. What's it like to explain the indefinite and definite article in PJ?  Way fun! Scary but fun. But Jah always provides - the PJ NWT has a list of John 1:1's listed in the appendix. Which led into a discussion of the cross - also in the appendix. which led into "hell", also in the appendix.  And every question she asked always went back to the pictures in the Trinity brochure of the council at Nicaea. It was very cool. Final question from the RV: "so then how do I learn the truth then?"  PERFECT!   Round 2 this weekend.

This week while studying with the lady below her phone rings. - it's her aunt - " ask those bible people at your house right now! Is it the end-of-the-world this Friday Dec. 21? (it's Wed today) Yep. People truly believed it. Not that it brought out any changes in them, but they wanted to know, just in case it was the last day of their life!   whatever.
Giving me and hil a ride to the front gate. Although less than a 5 min ride, we were all screams as if riding a roller coaster. yeah, pretty dramatic. Our driver as amused.
