The meaning of Tired - a packed out Thursday

10pm A Bible Study over Skype:  Why?  Student is dealing with family opposition.  So our day began at 8:45am till 5pm.  Left the territory at 4:45pm to get to the 6pm Pioneer Meeting with the CO and then rushed home by 9pm to conduct this one. My eye lids were getting heavy by 10pm,  it was a long long long day.  But worth it. The 3 extra cups of chai throughout the day helped too.  Btw, we have over 30+ regular pioneers which includes the PJ and Japanese group sponsored by our english congregation.

Our monthly PJ public talk. Speaker resides in PI but originally from S India.  He gave the talk in the Hindi language.  He is holding an egg plant (which is a great illustration for PJ's cuz they eat this all the time!).  Point of the illustration was would we eat it if it had bugs in it ( a year ago I would have said, "heck no man!", but now, "whatever, extra protein", I can't believe I am typing this out for real, shocking!).   - the main thought was regarding a cleansed earth.  Attendance was about 74 with 17-19 interested ones.  Many new studies commented at WT study, they love to be involvedFor some it was their first meeting and they still commentedIt was so cool.                      So this week we had a CO visit.  And this coming weekend we have english DC.  It's been nice to work in service with Stephanie. They love her! The studies are quite impressed with a young girl choosing to leave the USA and preach in the PI.  And the studies can't seem to grasp that there are African Americans in the USA.  To them, if you're black, you must be from AFrica and speak some other language.  Most common question Steph is asked, "what part of Africa are you from?, " "oh ok, then your parents?", "what language do you speak?" It's funny.  And the brothers?  They are ENTHRALLED by her green eyes!  Don't worry: Hil and I have become  samurai body-guards - sukhimoto and hilituwara.
