Back pain takes a while to heal, and therapy and exercise sure does takes a nice chunk out of one's life. Starting to feel half way normal now, so here are some quick updates.
- We are officially a Punjabi Congregation effective Feb 1st!!!
- Last week during the WT study, Reetu made a profound comment on Isaiah 43:9 (Jehovah's 'battle of the gods' "bring it on!" invitation). Her comment was deep and forceful, and a new bible student asked me, pointing at Reetu, "oh is she your bible teacher?" It was the best compliment ever! Reetu came over and we had a good laugh, but yea, that just shows she is making the truth her own.
- I attempted using the 1914 diagram chart from the public english WT - remember it? It really does work, see below. Did not go into the mathematical details, but just used the pictures and this guy actually got it. . .
- Baesa: a horrific unmentionable truck accident death of a PJ woman (not one of our studies - but a regular RV) has "rocked" Baesa a bit. Our ministry there is different now - the questions on kismet, destiny, godly intervention are on a whole new level, even hard for us to explain. Time will tell if this sudden turn of event will give the territory a face lift or not.
