How APEC affected our ministry

One would think that these governmental meeting would not affect us.  

WRONG!  WAAAAY WRONG! 

Flights canceled.  Roads closed.  Traffic was Un-moving, unmovable, immovable, immobile, unbelievable!  People just parked their cars and walked home, some for hours! 

We were this-close  

.   to spending the night at a Bible students home. 

They invited us to stay as long as we needed to.  So We preached until I couldn't keep my eyelids open any longer. That was about midnight. 12:30am ish.   So the family gave us a ride to a tricycle and we agreed that if we got stuck on the way home we would return and spend the night at their place.  Thankfully, we made it home around 1am ish.  Bed 1:30am! 

It was the best sleep ever, until the rooster woke me up about 5:30am! 

(Grrrrr, somebody give me an axe, a barbecue pit and don't forget the sauce)

 Studied with a husband and wife. Then the son came in, sat with us for a bit  . . .then one of the Brother in laws sat in . . . (lives next door) 

 . . .And then the wife's younger brother sat with us . . .then his other brother joined in . . .they live doors away too 

All in all it was a productive long long long day/night.

p.s. Thanks to all of you who send me convention/assembly photos. I save them and use them in the ministry frequently.  I was showing a PJ lady pictures of the PJ Regional convention in Sacramento and describing how international we are and that  Jehovah is giving us a glimpse of the new world. 

She added, "It's like Jehovah is showing us a preview of an upcoming new movie!."
