This sisters Instagram says it all. She courageously went out during the storm and her feet remained dry! We, on the other hand, did letter writing, skype, phone calls. It was a great opportunity to call the old Quezon City bible studies.
Another evening we got trapped in a studies house because the rain started to come down really hard, the sort of rain in which an umbrella is useless. Coincidentally, the studies college aged son was home, and we ended up preaching to him until the storm stopped. Neither of us realized that we had been talking for 3 hours! He had that many questions; from Adam to Armageddon, Soul to spirit to purgatory to devtas, languages, and on and on and on . . . it was fantastic!
