Most of the PJs we study with have just a few years of education. Basic reading is about as far it goes. So when one has never heard of WWI/1914 or doesn't know what one year before 1914 was, or what year it was 100 years ago, how can we teach what BCE was, or the year of Jesus' death, or the year Adam/Eve lived, or the year of the flood etc in a super-duper simplified way? It's been a mega challenge for years. BCE vs CE always comes up when PJ's ask about when the Gita or Granth Sahib or Bible was written.

| This diagram works pretty well. But it works better when you draw it in front of them explaining as you go along. |
| If each 1,000 bill represent a 1,000 years how many notes away was Jesus or Moses or Adam? This did not work very well. |
| But Grandfathers (Dada-ji's) work pretty well! If each grandfather was 100 years old - Jesus lived 20 Dada's ago, or Adam lived 60 Dada's ago - before your dadajis dadajis dadajis - ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਾਦੇ ਦਾ ਦਾਦਾ, ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਾਦੇ ਦਾ ਦਾਦਾ, ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਾਦੇ ਦਾ ਦਾਦਾ, Anyways,load and loads of patience required - it's a work in progress. If you have ideas, pls share. |
