Covid-19 : Countdown to Lockdown -

So remember we got back Wednesday. 

There's only a handful of Covid cases in Manila. None where we are. 

And - I never go out Thursdays. 

We acted with urgency to fully accomplish our ministry knowing what is about to happen. 

But what we did not know was how fast things were gonna change. I predicted at least a week. 

We had 4 days. 

Above/Below: It's Thursday! - Contact all the Tuesday calls in Laguna that I missed because we were at the beach. 

Rules: Don't go inside the house, wear mask. 

Goal: Read 3 scriptures to show why a Bible study is more important now than ever;

Mission Accomplished. 5 said yes they'll study. 

Tomorrow is Friday. Same Action plan.

Manjeet's flight home is Monday. 

Thursday night while having dinner. President Duterte announces that Manila will go on Lockdown Monday 12.01 am. 

No flights. Manjeet?!

Ipads everyone! - Philippines airlines quick! Found a 1 way ticket. I'm stuck - stuck - entered credit card - still stuck - 

CJ: on his ipad - Philippine airlines - there are 5 available seats - found a seat - stuck 

Ruth on her ipad - found a seat - stuck - entered credit card. Pushed her out. Start over - entered credit card. Pushed her out ...Start over - enter credit card....repeat the above 5 times! 

CJ: It's done! Took 30 minutes. 

Manjeet will be on the plane tomorrow. 

Phew! 

I MADE IT! 

SATURDAY: 

Field service cancelled. 

We get the remaining phone #'s of Laguna calls.

Same action plan followed. Mission accomplished. 

SUNDAY: 

1st case of Covid-19 in Silang, the city where our meetings are held. 

Bethel Rep Special meeting (Streamed Nationwide) cancelled.

Action Plan: Offer WhatsApp study, my phone#, date and time of study written on the front of the brochure.. 

Wear Mask. Do not enter home. 

After each call - sanitize hands, phone, tablet, steering wheel, stick shift, handbrake. 

Tonight 12.01am Manila goes on Lockdown 

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

7 days later, Cavite has 10 cases of Covid, 1 death, and city Lockdowns. 

In 6 days Manila is reporting 380, 78 of those reported in one day.

So what do we do now?
