The First Punjabi Public Talk in The Philippines

Translated Talk. Speaker a former missionary and now SP in PI and the translator I think you may recognize her.  She was very rusty and nervous and out of practice since it's been 9 months since her last interpretation. 

19 Studies attended! 11 of those were men.

Sujata's Studies.  Lady in brown suit has read the NWT PJ from Matt. -Rev!!!!! Within just a few months.

Is this the Potential future PJ congregation?  perhaps debah?

Hilarys here!!!!!  and fits right in. No time wasted.  She arrived Friday and did long service Saturday and helped with studies on Sunday.  Norman was our very nervous but perfect PJ speaking Chairman. He did the entire part/prayer in Punjabi.  His ਜੀ ਆਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ!!!!!! (welcome) was greeted with smiles and chuckles.  (learning PJ for less than 1 year)

Will write more next week.  But just a quick update. Hilary is here.  3 others arrive tomorrow and will help in the PJ ministry as much as they can. Zone visit is this week.  We will have 2 GB helpers who will give talks in english translated into Tagalog.  As you can see there was a good turnout for the PJ talk.  2 daughters of one  PJ family noticed something about the meetings, they asked their mum, "why is everyone so happy here?"  It's the same lady in the picture who read the entire PJ NWT Greek.  She was making arrangements that very day to take her kids to a tagalog meeting, but ended up coming to the PJ. But she plans to go to Tagalog for her kids sake.  It sure is nice to not be the only tall person in the PI :)  Few days ago Hil and I were sitting in the back of a taxi with a Phil Brother and he said that he felt very small sitting with foreigners . . .we were like giants . . .bahalana!!! (whatever)
