Our Fav Bible Student

This is our favorite bible student. Last year on the blog I talk about her, we met at Sbarro restaurant by accident and started a study with her informal witnessing. How is she doing? I will let you decide. Her homework assignment was to find out when Jesus was born, and the material was to be based from the appendix in the BH book. Now remember! this girl has no Bible background at all! We study via skype due to opposition, and she attends a meeting once per month. Here is her answer that she Texted - verbatim: "How do we know Jesus was born in 2 BCE? it has something to do with John (the baptizer) who started preaching other people in 15th yr of Tiberius Caesar (28CE-29CE). Now during that time one can start preaching at the age 30 when they become man so John must have been 30 yrs old when he started this work. now subtract 30 from 28 CE it will give u 2 BCE right! Jesus got baptized from John at the age of 30 (Luke 3:23) n he died in 33CE so meaning to say Jesus got baptized roughly in 29CE as he reigned for 3 and a half yrs. now subtract 30 from 29CE which will give you 1 BCE., since he did preaching work for 3 and a half yrs so subtract another half 2 BCE. still leaving roughly 2 BCE so we conclude Jesus was born in 2 BCE." WOW is all I can say. She gets an A++ for effort alone.
